Today we present a look at two rising stars in Houston, Mic Skills and Rad. Join us on Monday when we’ll wrap up “Get To Know” Week with The Niyat and The Legendary KO!!

One thing that I’ve learned in my “fifty-leven” years of making music is to recognize good music when I see it. I’ve come across a countless number of musicians who have been so consumed with their personal success that they fail to embrace raw talent that has the potential to shape the landscape of music to come.

Over the last couple of years, I’m grateful to have been introduced to some younger talent here on the Houston scene. Of course you already know about H.I.S.D, but today you get to know Mic Skills and Rad.
